The Stop the Bleed course will be offered to students in grades 7-12 on Jan. 8 from 6-7 p.m. at the Mark Henry Building. Space is limited. Please call 281-897-4015 to register.

Dec. 2, 2024—Smith Middle School seventh grade student Millie Juergens is applauded by her teachers for excelling both in the classroom and on the athletic field.
Nov. 26, 2024—The Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) named CFISD a 2024 District of Distinction award winner, marking the fourth time the district has earned the prestigious designation. CFISD is among only 96 districts in the state to earn this award.
Nov. 19, 2024—Smith Middle School sixth grade teacher Sherrian Houston-Motley was awarded the Randalls Red Apple Teacher of the Month Award on Nov. 11.
Nov. 8, 2024—The CFISD athletic department concluded its 2024 middle school football season on Oct. 30 at Cy-Fair FCU and Pridgeon stadiums. Four district champions were named.
November and December's Character Trait is Empathy.
Oct. 30, 2024—Nine CFISD middle schools productions placed and were recognized at the CFISD Middle School UIL One-Act Play contest, held Oct. 17, 22 and 25 at the Berry Center.
Parents with children enrolled in bilingual or ESL classes at CFISD schools who want to learn English are invited to enroll in district-offered ESL classes for parents. The free classes are offered for three levels of English proficiency: Introduction, Beginner or Intermediate. Registration will take place at the school cafeterias on the first day of class.
